Dr. Komarow completed a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering at Tulane University, New Orleans, received his medical degree from the Sackler School of Medicine, Tel Aviv, Israel, finished a residency in Pediatrics at MetroHealth Medical Center, Case Western Reserve Medical System, Cleveland, OH and subsequently in 2001 completed the NIH Clinical Center Allergy and Immunology (A&I) Residency Training Program. Dr. Komarow is board certified in both Pediatrics and Allergy and Immunology. At NIH he developed an animal model for an autoinflammatory disease, and established and supervised the NIH Pediatric Allergy Clinic. His current interests are physical urticaria, mastocytosis and autoinflammatory disorders.
